Mission
The mission of the
Department of Tourism Management is to educate individuals who integrate
theoretical knowledge with practical applications in tourism and management,
can analyze the dynamics of the tourism industry, possess analytical thinking
and problem-solving skills, conduct research, effectively use information and
communication technologies, and demonstrate strong foreign language and
communication competencies while being sensitive to ethical principles and
sustainable tourism practices. The department also aims to produce scientific
knowledge and contribute to the sustainable development of the tourism sector
through collaboration with industry, public institutions, and community
stakeholders.
Vision
To become a leading and
preferred department recognized at national and international levels in tourism
education by adopting a student-centered and practice-oriented education model
that integrates theoretical knowledge with industry practices; contributing to
the development of individuals who can analyze the economic, social, and
sustainable dimensions of the tourism sector, possess strong research and
problem-solving skills, effectively utilize information technologies, and
demonstrate advanced communication and foreign language competencies; and
fostering strong industry collaborations with a global perspective.
